Government Advocacy:
The Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry is committed to promoting a positive, pro-active business community. To that end, the Chamber President along with members of the Chamber’s Governmental Affairs/Advocacy Committee and the Board of Directors are working tirelessly to be the voice of Chamber members and Fulton County businesses in a myriad of ways:

Establishing productive relationships between business interests and public officials

Providing forums to inform public officials and candidates for public office on issues impacting the business community

Communicating official Chamber positions to appropriate public officials on any issue

Developing and supporting legislation and other governmental action that promotes a strong business climate and job growth opportunities

Opposing legislation and other governmental action that inhibits a strong business climate and diminishes job growth opportunities

Communicating Chamber positions to membership and encouraging member contact with appropriate public officials
In addition, the Chamber’s POLITICAL
ACTION COMMITTEE (PAC) was formed in 2005. The mission of the PAC is to
foster, encourage and support the highest quality public sector
leadership through the support of pro-business candidates. The PAC’s
objective is intended to compliment the ongoing programs and activities
of the Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the
areas of public policy research, advocacy, communications with local and
state elected officials, screening and endorsement of candidates for
public office, and related matters.
